Collage Landscape was created in 2007 out of a longstanding love of nature, growing up with dirt under fingernails and grass between toes. This female owned company started as just a side hobby while Kim experienced motherhood and graduate school, and slowly as time went on, she left her job and ventured out in 2023 to pursue her passion full-time. Kim has a degree in Marketing and Communication, a bachelors degree in Environmental Design, a Masters in Landscape Architecture and is a member of MALA (Manitoba Association of Landscape Architecture). Kim has honed her relationship building and interpersonal skills through decades of customer service, working in greenhouses, and the wine industry. Fun fact, she also has her WSET II in wine and can also suggest some pairings for that inaugural dinner on your new patio.

In her spare time, Kim enjoys working in her own yard, spending time with her family, volunteering at the Winnipeg Humane Society, petting every dog she can on walks and reading in her hammock.

Collage can be defined as a technique in art or music creation.

It can be a form. A composition. A collection of ideas, inspirations and desires. When we made a collage as kids we used paper, glue, felt, sparkles, magazine cutouts, leaves…. things of texture and color to create art. A piece that expressed…you.

So, let’s do that again, but this time with your yard.

What does a consult entail?

Consults are always 100% free with us - this is a great time to meet and discuss what you are looking for and what your project is about. We can take a look at inspirations, Pinterest and discuss the potential of ideas. It’s a great way to sort through some existing ideas and we can prepare for next steps, whether it’s a walkthrough or full design.

What areas do you serve?

All of Winnipeg and surrounding areas. If you love supporting uber local, we are located in Oak Bluff and love to serve in our community! If you are from further out of town— maybe a lake property, cottage etc. Send us an inquiry and let’s chat!

I have ideas but I want to know if they make sense!

Sounds like you need a walkthrough!

Think of all those design shows where the designer goes through the home and yard and answers questions, gives ideas and almost “live” designs what you are looking for….that’s the idea we have for walkthroughs. They are great when you have a million ideas but are unsure if they will actually work. We’ll figure it out in a 1-1.5 hour meeting.

I’m a home builder and I want someone make our exteriors shine as much as our homes.

Amazing! Collage has done extensive work over the past 4 years with home builders to build within budget the landscape for their show homes, condos and in-fill projects.

Do you provide maintenance after the project is done?

Collage has an amazing list of contractors that they continuously work with that do have property maintenance crews. We would be more than happy to recommend a crew or set you up with them.
